Just Wiped Rust Servers: Live List & How to Find Fresh Wipes (2026)

Just wiped Rust servers, live from the Steam server list

A just wiped Rust server is one whose map was reset in the last few hours, so every player starts again with a rock and a torch. The fastest way to find one is the live just wiped list below: it shows every Rust server that wiped in the last 3, 12 or 24 hours, sorted by players, with its team limit, wipe cycle and region. Most servers wipe on Thursday afternoon, and every server wipes on the monthly force wipe. The next force wipe is Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 2 PM ET (7 PM UK), and our Rust force wipe countdown on the home page counts down to it in your own time zone.

Below the live list you’ll find when servers actually wipe (we counted every wipe on the Steam server list), six ways to find fresh wipes yourself, what to check before you join, and a plan for your first hour on a fresh map.

TL;DR Use the live just wiped list on this page, or the Recently wiped sort on our Rust server browser. In the game, search the server list for today’s date (for example 10/22) or words like “just wiped” and “fresh”. The busiest time to join is Thursday, 2 to 3 PM ET for US servers and 2 to 3 PM UK time for EU servers. On Thursday October 22, 2026, 512 servers wiped and by midnight ET they held 56% of everyone playing Rust.
Just wiped Rust servers at a glance: 556 servers wiped in the last 24 hours, holding 20,634 of 36,919 players online, most servers wipe on Thursday, US servers wipe around 2 to 3 PM ET and EU servers around 2 to 3 PM UK time, next force wipe Thursday November 5 2026, with the rock, torch and sleeping bag every player starts a fresh wipe with

Just Wiped Rust Servers Right Now

This list reads the same Steam server list the in-game browser uses, through our live Rust server browser, and keeps only servers whose map was wiped recently. “Wiped” comes from the wipe time each server reports to Steam, so it is the real reset time, not what the server name claims. Pick how fresh you want the wipe, then narrow it down by region, team size and vanilla. Times are shown in your local time. If the live data can’t load, you’ll see our snapshot from the night of the October 22 wipe.

How to join On PC, the Join link opens Steam and connects you straight to the server. You can also press F1 in Rust and type client.connect followed by the address, or favourite the server and join it from the Favourites tab. A server name with “Premium” means it carries the premium tag, so your Rust Steam inventory has to be worth at least $15 to join, see our Rust server types guide.

What “Just Wiped” Means in Rust

Three kinds of Rust wipe: a map wipe resets the world, every base and every item but blueprints stay, a blueprint wipe also resets learned blueprints so you start the tech tree again, and a force wipe is Facepunch's monthly update on the first Thursday that makes every server wipe its map at once
“Just wiped” almost always means a map wipe. Blueprints may or may not reset with it.

When a server wipes, the owner deletes the save file and starts a new map. Every base, box, Tool Cupboard and item on the old map is gone, and every player spawns on the beach with a rock and a torch. That is what people mean by a just wiped or fresh wipe server: a new map where nobody has a head start yet. There are three kinds of wipe you’ll see in server names:

  • Map wipe: the world resets, your blueprints stay. This is what weekly and biweekly servers do. If you learned the AK on this server last week, you still know it after a map wipe.
  • Blueprint wipe (BP wipe): the map wipes and every learned blueprint resets, so you start the tech tree from scratch. Most servers only do this monthly or when Facepunch forces it. Servers that never wipe blueprints say “No BP wipes” in the name.
  • Force wipe: the monthly Rust update on the first Thursday of the month. The update changes the server files, so every PC server has to wipe its map at the same moment, monthly servers included. It is the biggest fresh start of the month and the busiest day in Rust.

Console Rust works differently: official console servers follow Facepunch’s own schedule, which we cover in our Rust console wipe schedule.

When Do Rust Servers Wipe?

When Rust servers wipe, counted from the Steam server list on October 22 2026: 512 servers wiped on Thursday, with the biggest spikes at 13:00 UTC (2 PM UK, EU servers) and 18:00 UTC (2 PM ET, US servers); over the last week Thursday had 512 wipes, Friday 238, Monday 147, Wednesday 144, Tuesday 126, Saturday 65 and Sunday 42
Every wipe on the Steam server list, by hour on wipe day and by day of the week.

We counted the wipe time of every Rust server online on the night of October 22, 2026 (2,629 servers with players). The pattern is very clear:

  • Thursday is wipe day. Of the 1,274 servers that wiped in the past seven days, 512 wiped on Thursday, 40% of the week. Friday was second with 238, then Monday with 147. Weekend wipes are rare: Saturday 65, Sunday 42.
  • US servers wipe around 2 to 3 PM Eastern. The biggest spike of the day was 121 servers in the 18:00 UTC hour, which was 2 to 3 PM ET. The big networks come back just before 3 PM ET.
  • EU servers wipe around 2 to 3 PM UK time. The second spike was 54 servers in the 13:00 UTC hour (2 to 3 PM UK), with smaller bumps at 15:00 and 17:00 UTC for servers that wipe later in the afternoon.
  • Monday and Friday servers exist for people who missed Thursday. Big networks run “Monday” and “Friday” servers that wipe on those days at the same time of day, see our Rusty Moose, Rustafied and Rustoria wipe schedules.

These times are in local time and follow daylight saving. From November 2026, 2 PM ET is 19:00 UTC instead of 18:00. The force wipe on the first Thursday of the month is at 2 PM ET / 7 PM UK, when the update goes live, and servers come back over the next hour as owners update. Weekly servers that would wipe that week simply wipe with the force wipe instead.

How to Find Just Wiped Rust Servers

Six ways to find just wiped Rust servers: use the live just wiped list or sort the whenisforcewiperust.com server browser by recently wiped, search the in-game server list for today's date or just wiped, read the server tags for weekly biweekly or monthly, check the wipe schedule in the description or Discord, follow the networks' wipe schedules, and favourite the servers you like so you can join them the minute they wipe
The quickest ways to find a server that wiped today.

1. Use the live list on this page

The list above is the shortest route. Set “Wiped within” to 3 hours on Thursday afternoon and you’ll see the servers that came back in the last hour or two, with player counts climbing in real time. If you want the full filter set (rates, map size, PvE, official servers and more), open our Rust server browser and click Just wiped under Quick, or pick Recently wiped in the sort menu.

2. Search the in-game server list for the date

Rust’s own server browser has no “last wiped” sort, but server owners put the wipe date in the name to attract players. On the night of October 22, 409 of 2,629 servers had a date in their name (like “10/22” or “22.10”) and 499 used words like “wipe”, “fresh” or “just”. In the Community tab, search for:

  • today’s date in US format (10/22) and EU format (22.10 or 22/10)
  • just wiped, fresh or wiped
  • the cycle you want, like weekly or monthly

The catch: some servers leave “JUST WIPED” in their name all week. Always check the player count and the description, or use the live list, which reads the real wipe time.

3. Read the server tags

Every community server can tag itself Weekly, Biweekly or Monthly, plus Vanilla, PvE, Hardcore and more. The in-game browser shows these tags and lets you filter by them. A weekly server wiped this Thursday is about as fresh as it gets; a monthly server is only fresh in the first few days after the force wipe. Our Rust server tags guide lists every tag, and our server types guide explains what each type plays like.

4. Check the description and Discord

Click a server and read its description. Almost every community server lists its wipe day and time, whether blueprints wipe, the team limit and the rates. Bigger servers post the exact wipe time on their Discord and often ping a role when the server is back up, which beats refreshing the browser.

5. Follow the big networks’ schedules

If you want a full server on wipe night, the big networks are the safe bet. Rusty Moose, Rustafied and Rustoria all wipe their main servers every Thursday, and on October 22 their main servers were among the busiest on Steam within hours. Every schedule and time is on our server wipe schedules page.

6. Favourite servers before wipe day

Add the servers you like to your Favourites before Thursday. On wipe day you just open the Favourites tab and join the moment the server comes back, instead of searching while the queue fills up. Sites like BattleMetrics and RUSTalyzer also track wipe times; our BattleMetrics guide explains what’s free there.

What to Check Before You Join a Fresh Wipe

What to check before joining a just wiped Rust server: the team limit for solo duo trio or quad, the rates such as vanilla 1x or 2x and 5x, whether blueprints wipe, the wipe cycle so you know how long the map lasts, the player count and queue, and the region and ping
Six things that decide whether a fresh wipe is right for you.

A fresh wipe is only good if it’s the right kind of server for you. Check these six things first:

CheckWhy it mattersWhere to see it
Team limitA solo on a no-limit server will meet 10-man zergs on day one. Solo, duo, trio and quad servers keep fights fair.“Team” column above, or “Solo/Duo/Trio” in the name
Rates1x vanilla is slow and grindy; 2x, 3x and 5x get you to guns in hours instead of days.Server name and description
Blueprint wipeIf BPs don’t wipe, regulars keep the AK and rockets from last week. On a BP wipe everyone is equal.Name (“No BP wipes”) and description
Wipe cycleA weekly map lasts 7 days, a monthly one about 4 weeks. Short wipes favour quick action; long ones favour big bases.“Cycle” column above, Weekly / Biweekly / Monthly tag
Players and queueA busy server means action and full monuments; a queue means you’ll wait. Low pop is calmer for learning.“Players” column above
Region and pingPlay on a server in your region. A high ping server makes every fight harder.“Region” column above, ping in the in-game browser

Not sure if vanilla, softcore or hardcore is for you? Our softcore vs hardcore guide has a live list of both modes.

Why Joining in the First Hours Matters

Why join a Rust server right after the wipe: servers wiped in the last 24 hours averaged 37 players each, 1 to 3 days after wipe 13 players, 3 to 7 days after 8 players, and over two weeks after only 6 players; on October 22 2026 the servers that wiped that day held 56 percent of all Rust players
Average players per server by how long ago it wiped, October 23 2026.

Rust servers are busiest right after the wipe and empty out fast. On the night of October 22, servers that had wiped in the last 24 hours averaged 37 players each. Servers that wiped 1 to 3 days earlier averaged 13, those 3 to 7 days old averaged 8, and servers more than two weeks into their wipe averaged just 6. In other words, 21% of servers held 56% of the players.

Joining on wipe day means everyone starts with the same rock, monuments are full of loot and players, and you have the whole wipe to build up. Joining a few days late means walking into a map full of stone and metal bases, with groups already running guns. If you can only play later in the week, pick a Monday or Friday server, or a low pop server, rather than a weekly server on day five. Want to know how many people are playing right now? See our Rust player count page.

Your First Hour on a Fresh Wipe

First hour plan on a just wiped Rust server: hit trees and nodes with the rock, craft a stone hatchet and stone pickaxe, make a hunting bow and spear for safety, place a sleeping bag, build a small base with a wooden door, key lock and Tool Cupboard, then get a furnace going and collect scrap for a workbench
The order most players follow in the first hour of a wipe, with the real items you’ll craft.

The first hour decides your whole wipe. Here is a simple order that works on any fresh map:

  1. Gather with the rock. Hit trees for wood and stone nodes for stone. Pick up hemp for cloth.
  2. Craft stone tools. A stone hatchet and stone pickaxe gather far faster than the rock.
  3. Craft a weapon. A wooden spear, then a hunting bow with arrows, so you can fight back and hunt for food and cloth.
  4. Place a sleeping bag. Hide it somewhere away from the beach so you don’t respawn at random.
  5. Build a small base. Grab the building plan, put down a 1×1 or 2×1, upgrade it to stone, add a wooden door with a key lock, and place a Tool Cupboard so nobody else can build there. For ideas, see our Rust base designs or try the base builder.
  6. Get metal going. Craft a furnace, smelt metal ore into fragments, and farm barrels and road crates for scrap toward a Workbench 1.

For every craft cost, a base walkthrough and the mistakes to avoid, see our full Rust beginners guide.

Wipe day warning The first hour is when most players die, usually to other fresh spawns on the beach. Keep moving inland, don’t carry everything at once, and put your loot in a box inside your base as soon as the door is on.

FAQ

What does just wiped mean in Rust?

A just wiped Rust server reset its map in the last few hours. Every base and item from the previous map is gone and everyone starts again with a rock and a torch. Blueprints only reset if the server also did a blueprint wipe.

How do I find just wiped Rust servers?

Use the live just wiped list on this page, which reads each server’s real wipe time from the Steam server list. In the game, search the Community tab for today’s date (like 10/22 or 22.10) or words like “just wiped” and “fresh”, then check the description to confirm the wipe time.

What day do most Rust servers wipe?

Thursday. In the week to October 22, 2026, 40% of all Rust server wipes happened on Thursday, with Friday and Monday next. Every server also wipes on the force wipe, the first Thursday of the month.

What time do Rust servers wipe?

Most US servers wipe around 2 to 3 PM Eastern on Thursday and most EU servers around 2 to 3 PM UK time. The monthly force wipe is at 2 PM ET (7 PM UK) on the first Thursday of the month.

When is the next force wipe?

The next Rust force wipe is Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 2 PM ET (7 PM UK time). Every PC server wipes its map then. The countdown on our home page shows the exact time in your time zone.

Can I sort the in-game Rust server browser by wipe?

No. The in-game browser lets you filter by tags such as Weekly, Biweekly and Monthly, but it can’t sort by last wipe time. Our live list and our Rust server browser can, because they read the wipe time each server reports to Steam.

Do blueprints wipe on a fresh wipe?

Not always. Weekly and biweekly wipes are usually map wipes only, so you keep your blueprints. Many servers do a blueprint wipe once a month on the force wipe, and some say “No BP wipes” in their name. Check the server description, and see our Rust BP wipe guide for how blueprint wipes work.

Is it worth joining a Rust server a few days after wipe?

It can be, but it’s harder. Servers lose most of their players within a few days: on October 22, 2026, servers wiped in the last day averaged 37 players, while servers 3 to 7 days into their wipe averaged 8. If you start late, pick a Monday or Friday wipe server or a low pop server.
